When I was in college, I used to video tape all the dates that I had online. Sometimes, I'd even keep a webcam online so my boyfriends could watch my men and I eat dinner together. My first dates were always my last, I met alot of men online, "sport dating" is a fun thing to do when bored online. Now that I'm still single and in my twenties... I still maintain about 9 online dating profiles with various dating agencies - I even have 3 video profiles! Get on it, and enjoy life a bit more than ussual.

The language you use, and the care you take with spelling, define who you are online. Using hip terms and having a flip attitude may be seen by some guys as a defensive posture and will definitely limit your responses. That doesn't mean you need to write your ad like a thank-you note to grandma. But it does mean you should use full sentences, regular punctuation and decent grammar.
